Renhard is a Letinese native speaker from Indonesia. He is a sociolinguist, researching corpus data, linguistic relationships, phonetics, language vitality, language use, language variation, and community needs. He currently works with Suluh Insan Lestari in South Jakarta to assess the linguistic relationship between Northern Languages of South Sulawesi, as well as to study the language shift of Leti, and to conduct a sociolinguistic survey of under-developed languages in Indonesia. He also expects to continue doing more language development in Indonesia’s local languages for many years to come. In his free time, Renhard enjoys reading, listening to music, and traveling to new places.
